|I've been active in motorized recreation in various forms since my teenage years. Starting on an ancient Ski-Doo snowmobile my dad bought for recreation, my interests developed into dirt bikes once I could afford to buy my own vehicles.
After several 'enduro' and moto-cross bikes, I graduated into street bikes after college, and gradually got into ATV riding in 2004. My first quad was actually the grand prize I won in the Friends of NRA banquet raffle in 2004, and I rode that Yamaha Big Bear 400 for a couple years. When my wife wanted to ride her own machine in 2006, the Yamaha got sold so I could add two Outlander's to the stable, and I've been riding them ever since.
I retired from the Pennsylvania State Police in 2006, and have since held several positions in the corporate and private sectors in various fields such as security and investigations as well as semi-skilled trades.
I joined the Lehigh Valley ATV Association in October 2005, and was elected President in March 2010. Since I took over as President, the club has revamped it's original website with a new forum capability, adopted a new club logo, added Pay-Pal convenience to membership payments and established an online store through which members can purchase club-branded merchandise.
In addition to off-road recreation, I enjoy hunting, fishing and firearms.
