Pennsylvania is home to the Allegheny National Forest (ANF) which is located in the northwest corner of the state. It is a beautiful natural resource and recreation area that is enjoyed by thousands of hikers, campers, bikers, and OHV riders each year. The ANF is home to some of the best OHV riding in that area and boasts five maintained trail systems that are suitable for varying levels of expertise and type of vehicle.
The best information for up to date trail conditions, maps, and other details is on the ANF ranger webpage found HERE – Allegheny National Forest (ANF) – OHV Riding & Camping:OHV Trail Riding. Please note that all vehicles must have paid permit stickers visible and attached to your vehicle. There are a variety of ways to obtain a riding pass including mail-in requests, ranger station pick up, and private locations.
